Learning outcome 4 (U3): be able to carry out post-production techniques and processes for an original media product to a client brief .  (p5,M4, D1) Apologies for the formatting issue. It was a Blogger error. Below are my final production pieces. I have used the client brief requirements to produce a front cover and double page spread. I have exported theses images as JPEGs to meet the client brief. Front page: before: after: With the content above showcasing the before and after I used the magnetic lasso tool in order to cut out the main artist from the background. This tool has been used to create meaning as I have taken the artists out of the image and placed him on my front cover in order for him to stand out and catch the reader's attention through his bold solo presence. By placing him in front of a different background it suggests he has dominance and as my double page spread focuses on him, this is effective. This tool meets the client br...

Learning outcome 4 (U3): be able to carry out post-production techniques and processes for an original media product to a client brief . (p5) Apologies for the formatting issue. It was a Blogger error. front cover: what went well: I really like the layout as it is sleek and professional. The way my front cover is laid out is simple but effective, it doesn't overload the reader with information but it holds enough information to generate an initial interest. The layout is also suitable for my magazine and holds all the features of a conventional magazine. it therefore suits my target audience as it is easy to read and interpret due to its simplicity and it shows a level of sophistication that will make my youthful audience feel more mature. I feel like the vibrant, neon green works really well and gives the front cover some character and links to my genre as it stands out and looks graffiti like. The green also works really well with my magazine masthead as I dre...

Evaluate the response (d1 u21)

Image
Learning outcome 3 (U21): be able to pitch ideas on a proposed media product and respond to questions. (D1) Apologies for the formatting issue. It was a Blogger error. From my presentation to the client, I received six pieces of feedback that I will discuss below. feedback that I will be acting upon:  I will use first 3 letters NLD as title and icon for social media  I will do this as it makes the title more catchy and more interesting as well as relating back to North London. by using NLD it could open up my brand name and therefore could lead to other forms of media being released with the same title in future. this change is also simple to make and opens up the possibility of using it as part of a logo due to the fact that it has 3 letters, this will be used on all social media platforms that I will be using for my magazine and future and could help create a recognisable logo which could help boost sales through brand awareness. I will change headline and body c...
